Blacohs SENTRY Pulsation Dampeners remove virtually all system shock, enhancing all-around performance, reliability, and uniformity of fluid flow in spray and metering applications.

SENTRY Pulsation Dampeners use a compressed gas separated by a bladder from the process fluid like a shock absorber. During the pumps discharge stroke, fluid pressure displaces the bladder, compressing the trapped gas. During the next cycle, fluid flow stops momentarily causing expansion of the compressed gas, forcing the bladder to push accumulated fluid back into the discharge line. This fills the void created by cycle shift, dampening pulsation up to 99% and creating a steady, continuous, and uniform flow.

SENTRY also ensures the accuracy, longevity, and repeatability of in-line meters and effectively reduces product agitation, foaming, splashing and product degradation.

SENTRY bodies and bladders are available in a full range of chemically resistant materials for all positive displacement pumps with discharge sizes from 1/8 to 6. Models from stock offer pressure ranges up to 4000 PSI and with capacities up to 10 gallons. Custom models are available up to 100 gallons and 25,000 PSI.
